IEEE Malta Section proudly recognised the outstanding student finalists of the IEEE Malta Best Final Year Project (FYP) Competition 2024, held at Campus Hub. The competition celebrated the exceptional engineering and ICT projects of the Class of 2024.
The finalists, all 2024 graduates from the Faculty of ICT and the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Malta, presented their final year work to a panel of distinguished judges. The event highlighted the quality and innovation being developed by Malta’s next generation of engineers and technologists.
IEEE Malta Section expressed its gratitude to the panel of judges for their valuable time and expertise: Prof. Carl Debono, Prof. Edward Gatt, Dr. Paul Zammit, and Mr. Michael Azzopardi. The event was hosted by Dr. Conrad Attard, Chair of the IEEE Malta Section. Special thanks also went to iCreatemotion Photography for capturing the special moments of the day.
Finalists from this competition were invited to the official IEEE Malta Awards Night later in the year, where the best projects were formally recognised and presented with awards.
