IEEE Global Robot Championship Malta 2026

The IEEE Malta Section is proud to host the IEEE Global Robot Championship Malta 2026, bringing together IEEE student teams and robotics enthusiasts from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for an exciting international showcase of robotics, artificial intelligence and innovation.

The championship features two competition tracks:

  • Arena 4 Games – challenging robot-versus-robot and disaster-response competitions that test engineering, strategy and teamwork.
  • Robot Arm AI Challenge – a next-generation competition focused on AI-powered robotic manipulation, imitation learning and autonomous decision-making.

Participating teams will also present an AI for Humanity Innovation Pitch, demonstrating how their robotic solutions contribute to solving real-world challenges in areas such as healthcare, sustainability, disaster response and smart cities. In addition to the competition, the event will include STEM activities, demonstrations and opportunities for students, educators, researchers and industry professionals to engage with emerging technologies and inspire the next generation of innovators.
