WIE is one of the largest international professional organisations dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring girls around the world to follow their interests in engineering.

The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group (AG) of the IEEE Malta Section was launched in July 2017 with the aim of attracting women to STEM courses and occupations and supporting them throughout their studies.
