Dr Gianluca Valentino is the Secretary of the IEEE Malta Section. He obtained a First Class Honours undergraduate degree in communications and computer engineering from the University of Malta in 2010. Dr Valentino was awarded a Ph.D. by the University of Malta in 2013 for the development of a fast and automatic procedure for the alignment of the collimation system of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN.
